An accessible cycling holiday along the Kempen Route

The accessible Kempen Route covers 96 km and is almost entirely flat. It runs between Antwerp and Mol via the ‘classic’ Kempen Route. Along the way, you can enjoy the typical Kempen landscape, with its forests, expansive heathland, lakes and inland dunes.

The route is suitable for cyclists with reduced mobility who tire easily or who use alternative mobility or walking aids. People with a visual impairment can also cycle the route when accompanied by a guide.
The paths are wide enough to accommodate non-standard bicycles, cargo bikes and bicycles towing trailers.

Adapted bicycles

Go to www.Gfietst.be, for an overview of all locations in Flanders where you can borrow or rent an adapted bicycle, with or without a guide rider.
Transport to the start and/or end point is also sometimes available, so be sure to check in advance to confirm.

Transporting luggage, bicycles and people

You can use www.bagagetransport.be or www.ac-courierteam.be to arrange transport for your luggage, medical supplies or wheelchairs between accommodation along the way.
