Today is the toughest challenge of our four-day journey. Setting off from Brakel, we spend the entire day winding through the Flemish Ardennes, famed for its many climbs and cobbled roads.
We ride here just ahead of the Tour of Flanders, and many of the roads we follow form part of this iconic race. Throughout the day, we encounter numerous amateur cyclists riding their own version of ‘the Ronde’, creating a convivial and inspiring atmosphere.
On a stunning route, quiet farm tracks alternate with stretches of cobblestones. After a day filled with impressive panoramas, we reach our destination: Ronse. This surprising city is well worth a visit.
